Longform: A Smart Reader App Reviews

When I try to go into publishers the app constantly crashes. Going into following or anywhere else it does the same thing it becomes unresponsive and then crashes. When I tried to send a mail through the app on informing them of the problem locked up. iOS 9.3.2 iPhone 6 Plus

Good place to find articles like: The Hot Felon Is Heading to Hollywood. The sense I had gotten from this app was that it had a mission to curate quality articles, not to give us an all access pass to the ads on weather.com. I was wrong.

Love this app when it works, which is only sporadically-- it freezes, so app has to be deleted, then reinstalled, and all my preferences have to be reset. Im sadly about to give up the next time it happens.

Constantly freezes while trying to load the list of feeds. Problems with usability and stale data.

App keeps freezing as soon as I open it. Love the content but its no good if I cant access it.

This is probably the app I recommend to more people than any other I use.

Rather than pollute the world with more ads and borderline spam articles, this app does a great service to the world with its compiling of Longform journalism. I cant believe how flawless the design is; it runs perfectly. Keep it up!

Its good to have great, long form content to dig into--something sorely lacking in many forms of media these days. This app does a good job at finding credible and interesting articles across diverse subjects. I highly recommend you give it a shot.

I would give it five stars if it werent for the occasional crash.

I consider LongForm my favorite reading App. When I need a good story, article or essay, I find it on LongForm. My family has become addicted as well. I have been generally very disappointed in newsreader apps of recent years, both in terms of their design and content. Longform finally gives me a no-nonsense way to access real journalism, without having to visit each website or sift through Facebook/Reddit for my preferred sources. The app is easy to use, and the offline feature really seals the deal. This is now one of my indispensable phone features; I always have something to read! Thanks for making this.

I love the idea here - I will keep and use the app- but it regularly has loading issues on the iPhone. It currently wont load staff picks and if you try to follow a writer it will not load for about a month.

A friend turned me on to the Longform website a few years ago, so I was excited to finally get this app. Definitely lives up to my expectations, and exceeds them.

the app has been buggy for quite a while. like almost a year? its become very slow. and ive noticed that some contents, in long form actually, are not involved in the timeline, however, could be found in search results. i like this app a lot, using it since the very beginning. dear developers, pls do not give up on Longform. thank you.

I love this app but it constantly crashes on me while reading a loaded article. When I reopen it, it goes back to a previous article I read, not the one I was in the middle of. Frustrating.

My app has stopped updating, nothing is available after October 27. I love longform and read multiple articles a day. I hope this issues is resolved soon. Ive reinstalled and restarted multiple times all to no change.
