What a wonderful resource - a virtual library of interesting articles from notable publishers.

It look and feel is so amazing. Feel kinda like I m reading a book, a magazine or a piece of article.
I am a commuter who spends about an hour commuting between my school and home per day. Despite all the tech we can have we dont have any mobile signals on the subway. That frustrates me a lot for not having access to things I wanna read and explore. I love to read not so long reports/articles of high quality. For the past I have to explore before I get on the subway and save it to some offline reader to enjoy. Thats really troublesome. But not after I found this amazing app!!! So happy I just wish the developers can add an auto downloading all the articles and pictures features in the future. Thank you!!!
Every piece Ive read has been fantastic. Really impressed with the choices.
Excellent selections. One of the best apps in the store.
As much as I love finding great articles to read, it can get overwhelming pretty quickly. Longform is a great app that scours the internet to find relevant, interesting articles everyday so you dont have to. A few things I love: - an user friendly interface - offline access - a list of the most popular articles in the day, week and month - you can follow particular writers that you enjoy - gives you the reading time for each article
Longform does such agreat job at curating all the good stuff. My go-to app for a fab read.
Decided to give this app a go after seeing it mentioned on Foreign Policys website. Man am I glad I did! Longform gives you access to great articles from many different (too many to list) magazines/ websites all on one app. You can select publications to "follow" and the articles will appear on your feed. You can also see the most popular articles of the day/week/month as well as the "staff picks". You can also enjoy most (of the ones I read) articles ad free in a reader mode. Only gripe is some publications only allow a certain amount of free articles a month, but thats the way the cookie crumbles...
I recommend Longform without equivocation. I have located many articles which have engaged my interest. These articles will challenge readers who want to develop a habit of engaging with text. Longform ignores the ever so common few paragraph internet entries which are masquerading as journalism.
Theres astonishing writing here that you might well miss elsewhere. This is where you catch up on lifes delights and horrors.
Prioritises quality writing over press releases and listicles. Great for anyone who loves quality journalism.
Longform plus Zite are excellent -- and out-do Flipboard every time.
Crashes every time I try to go to the Explore page. Tried resetting & rebooting device to no avail. On iPad Air.
It would be great if I were able to rotate my phone and read in landscape mode
Supremely enjoy the articles this app has brought into my awareness. Highly recommended
Switched to this when Zite announced it is closing. Love it!
Longform makes me believe in writing again. (The app is great but the podcast is even better.) Thanks so much for putting this in the world--its necessary, awesome, a joy.
App freezes and is frequently unresponsive. It has potential.
This app would merit 5 stars if it didnt freeze so consistently. The content is wonderfully curated. Love the ability to save for offline reading. The first few versions were much more reliable. I held off reviewing this app because I assumed these were just growing pains.I want to give it five stars because I think this is an essential app.
I cant recommend this app enough - I tell my friends about it all the time! I find the most interesting and diverse array of articles in this app and rarely see such careful curation of content by editors. However, I have had this app for over a year and find it to be very buggy. There is always some minor problem where one section wont update properly or the app will crash non-stop for a few days and then somehow start working again. It doesnt stop me from using it but I would really appreciate more continuous upgrades to the app.
