Longform: A Smart Reader App Reviews

Great when it works, but super buggy these days. Feeds often fail to update for days at a time. Feels like the app is being abandoned.

Please fix. I am using iPhone 5s with the latest ios.

This app makes me want to start writing. So many fantastic reads. Perfect for the subway.

This app is an excellent source of the best current journalism. Its been a bit buggy lately but an in-app support feature allowed me to text with a real person about my problem.

I have really enjoyed this app! However, in the last month it is pretty consistently crashing; will not let me refresh the feed and continually pulls up old pages when I try to refresh page. Please fix!

An amazing app with some of the best content on the web

Ive been using Longform for a year now it is my favorite place to find and read articles on all kinds of subjects. I would highly recommend.

I love this app. Its straight to the point and pretty simple to use. But I cant give it five stars because it does crash and freeze a lot which makes it hard to enjoy sometimes.

I wish they would make it easier to access any bookmarks. Or tell me how....

While Flipbook, Zite, and Apple News are great apps for getting your quick ADHD news fix, I tend to prefer more in-depth journalism and stories that go deeper than just explaining the details of the headline. This is the best curated source of long-form journalism and storytelling out there. I have found so many incredible articles and short fiction pieces through this app that I would like to send the developers (and news curators) a virtual hug for making my life better!

This is a great way to keep up to date on current events with quality reporting on important issues. The best part of this app is the content is curated. I have yet to read a poor quality piece of journalism on this site. Its a great way to filter news. I highly recommend this app for anybody who wants to be truly informed!

How strange it is. This app gives you news options ranging from al jizERA to the Russian times and from msnbc to huffington post. So if your trying to get unbiased reporting or are sick of articles or editorials written by people who hate the USA, capitalism and our culture then this app will overwhelmingly disappoint you. Deleted within 15 min after downloading it.

I asked a question by email and received a wise crack response. Not impressed with publications. Uninstalling now.
